Reflectors

Boatanchors This is one of the most useful lists for those interested in restoring, maintaining and using (mostly) tube based communications and associated test equipment etc. It is a subscription list and the owner keeps a tight rein. It thus has one of the highest signal to noise ratios of similar lists. Traffic is moderate and there is some related buy/sell activity. The URL left will give you all the relevant information.
Premium-Rx This list is focused on 'high end' radio receivers. This means (mostly) radios that are microprocessor controlled and usually designed for military or commercial applications where cost isn't a major issue. With many of these radios becoming available, this list serves those who use and maintain them. This list is free, but those interested must apply to the list owner. Traffic on this site is light, and of very high signal to noise. There is little buy/sell activity. All the information is available at the URL to the left.
MilSurplus This list focuses on military electronic equipment: transmitters, receivers, test gear and everything related. It is a great source of expertise and experience, and has a high signal to noise ratio. Traffic is fairly heavy and there is a lot of buy/sell activity, but only of stuff related to the list purpose. You can subscribe through the URL at the left.
R-390 List This list is concerned almost exclusively with the R-390A and related radios such as the R-389, R-390, R-391 and R-392. It can be very useful, especially for those who have just acquired one of these classic high performance radios, and need help before digging into its complex innards! The signal to noise ratio has not been good in the past, but has improved lately. There is buy/sell activity. You can subscribe through the URL at the left.
R1051 List This list is concerned almost exclusively with the R-1051 series of radios, a successor to the R-390A. These solid state radios are very difficult to service and maintain, but well worth the effort. The signal to noise ratio on this list is high. Traffic is light and there is minimal buy/sell activity. You can subscribe through the URL at the left.

Links

These are a few of the links I enjoy because they offer parts, equipment or information, or just because they have fine "stuff" on display. URLs tend to change a lot, so if you notice a link that doesn't work, try again at a later time and then let me know if it still isn't working.

There is also an extensive list of ham related links at K1DWU's Ham-Links Collection. Try it!
