October 10, 1997

Buena Vista International releases the film Con Air to theaters in Argentina and Hong Kong.
  • A 1967 Elkhart Blue Corvette Convertible appears. It gets pulled into the air by a large transport plane, then falls to the ground, totally destroyed.
  • An announcer at a casino says "Will the driver of the white Corvette please move your car, or it will be moved." The 1984-90 Corvette is then run over by a crash-landing plane.

  • A Bright Red 1985 Corvette is smashed with a crowbar.
