Sharon
Francis,
a member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church in Victoria, B.C., Canada,
has been a Missionary in Honduras, Central America since 1989. A
graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and Camosun College
School of Nursing, she spent several years traveling in Canada in
Children's evangelism before studying nursing. Her ministry has
always been directed towards children, with the conviction that
there is no ministry more important than reaching children for the
Lord. |

Erica
Ramirez,
a Honduran, was raised in Nicaragua, but was forced to leave during
the war to protect her children. She has lived in Honduras since
1986. She and her husband Wilfred have 7 adult children, most of
whom are now living in the United States. Erica worked for several
years as a teacher before joining with Sharon in the ministry, in
1990. Her desire is to reach boys and girls of Honduras with the
gospel of Jesus Christ. |

| Wilfred
Ramirez,
Erica's husband, works for the ministry as nightwatchman and general
handiman. |
His work includes
everything from killing rats, to fixing broken pipes to laying blocks.
I don't know what we would do without his help. |
In Honduras,
it is much more common to use a machete rather than a lawn mower
to cut the grass. |
