	On the first hole of the beautiful Sunshore Golf Club Sunshore is a challenging 9 hole course, renowned for its high standard of maintenance. A privately owned and operated course, it provides many personal touches not always experienced at other courses. At 4900 yards, it plays to a par 33 on the front nine and par 34 on the back nine, from different tee boxes. All golfer skills will be challenged to par the second hole - a straight away fairway, bordered with trees and sloping green, or the seventh hole - a beauty - a sensational view overlooking Little Shuswap Lake.

Chase's relaxing lifestyle and low cost of living make the community attractive. Chase offers all the amenities of a large city combined with the beauty of spectacular scenery. Many residents, preferring to live in a small community, commute to the nearby larger centers of Salmon Arm and Kamloops. A small portion of the community relies on other industries such as agriculture and the arts. There is a burgeoning group of local artisans gaining popularity in Chase and the North Shuswap area. Sorrento and Blind Bay host art and literary shows, retreats and workshops annually. Sorrento hosts a week long Festival of the Arts every year, for 20+ years.
