  • 2010 - Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET409 Boeing 737-800 plane breaks up in a thunderstorm shortly after takeoff from Beirit, Lebanon, and plunges into the Mediterranean Sea in a ball of fire. All 90 people aboard perish.
