Welcome 欢迎
The College was founded in 1984 to provide a full-time degree program in Traditional Chinese Medicine, to obtain legal recognition and regulation of TCM as a profession in British Columbia, and to offer short-term training programs for delegations from China.
In 1991 the TCM program became an independent college, the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and in 1999 the BC Legislature made TCM a regulated profession.
To date, more than one hundred delegations from China have been received and trained, in topics as diverse as intellectual property, quality control, administration and management, banking and finance, construction, education, public security, aerospace, agriculture, theology and philosophy.
On this site you will find writings of the founder of the College, the Rev. Dr. Wee-chong Tan, on topics such as: Christian theology and Chinese classics; environmental protection; global warming; aspects of organic agriculture.
Lets us together pay attention to the environmental protection question, and together protect the world which God creates.
此网页专门刊登一些个人关于基督教与中国传统文化比较的研究性文章。同时,也刊登关于生态环保及有机农业方面的文章,让我们一起来关注环保问题,一起来保护上帝创造的世界。

In Preparation:
A recently completed treatise, Introduction to Chinese Civilization is now being prepared as an online book. From the Preface:
In this present book, I would like to inform the public of some of the basic facts about China, and my own views of China... China should not be judged nor understood merely by singling out the negative aspects ...
China today is the oldest continuous civilization on Earth. Whether you like it or not, there is something to be learned from this. Together, we can still help China with fairness, respect, friendship and good will, which will be good for future generations and for world peace.
