Terms of Sales
- Prices are in US$, for convenience, with shipping listed in addition to the item price.
Other currencies may be accepted, such as Canadian dollars and British pounds.
The total postage cost usually decreases when items are combined.
For example, two items that are listed as "US$10 + $5 shipping" would likely
be combined as "US$10 + $10 + $7 shipping".
- Online payment via www.paypal.com is accepted (to my email address kpolsson@islandnet.com). Payment may also be mailed; cash, check, or money order is fine. I normally send packages when I
receive payment; I wait for checks to clear at the bank when they are
a large amount from new customers.
For repeat customers, I sometimes ship packages when the buyer says
payment is in the mail, depending on how busy I am. Sending an email of a postal
receipt when sending payment can speed-up mailing.
- Seller (me) is responsible for packing items securely, so they do not
break in transit. If something arrives broken, it will be replaced or
your money refunded (excluding postage).
- Buyer is responsible for postage, which includes
the risk of loss of package. Therefore, buyer is responsible for
optional postal insurance on packages.
I have shipped over
2000 packages since March 1997, and only one has gone missing. (I replaced it.)
- Normal delivery time is about two weeks by ground/surface mail to
US destinations.
